Luis Miguel Echegaray: On Wednesday, MLS and the MLS players association agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement after the MLSPA approved a newly revised plan. With this agreement, the league avoided a work stoppage and finally ratified a new CBA, which runs through 2025. With all this, the agreement also includes a return to action - with a tournament in Orlando at the end of June, confirmed by MLS commissioner Don Garber.

Reports suggest that for the tournament in Orlando teams will prepare for three matches, which will supposedly count for the regular season. After that, the surviving 16 teams will face off in a bracket format. Don Garber also said that $1 million in prize money and a trophy will be on the line.
