NEW YORK – No. 2 Roger Federer defeated No. 5 Stan Wawrinka in the second men's semifinals match of the 2015 U.S. Open on Friday, winning 6–4, 6–3, 6–1 in 92 minutes to Federer advances to the U.S. Open final for the first time since 2009 and will play for major title No.18 and his sixth U.S. Open title in the final on Sunday vs. No. 1 Novak Djokovic.
