ATP enhances World Tour Finals security after Paris terrorist attacks

The ATP has decided to increase security at the ATP World Tour Finals in London following terrorist attacks in Paris.

LONDON (AP) — Spectators attending the ATP World Tour Finals in London over the next week will not be allowed to bring food or drinks into the O2 arena after organizers enhanced security following the terrorist attacks in Paris.

The ATP said in a statement Saturday that “no bags larger than a small laptop bag or handbag will be permitted” and asked visitors to make time for security checks.

Attacks across Paris on Friday night, including explosions outside the Stade de France where the French football team was playing Germany, has left at least 127 people dead.

The World Tour finals begin Sunday with Novak Djokovic playing Kei Nishikori, before Roger Federer takes on Tomas Berdych.
