Both teams have played well at the Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series and now are looking to get a big first-round win and get one step closer to a World Series title. You can catch the first-round action live from St. Louis Stadium starting at 12:30 p.m. ET on Stadium 1.
Southwest ran through the Missouri State Champ, Southeast, New England and Ohio Valley without dropping a game. It wasn't easy, though, as three of its wins were by just a single run.
West Raleigh started the tournament with three straight shutout wins and had a chance to clinch the top spot in Pool A, but came up short against Manoa in its last game 8-1. It was a disappointing end to pool play, but it still clinched a spot in the championship bracket and will be looking to get a win on Wednesday.
