Hermosillo kept its shutout streak intact on Thursday when it beat Hsinchu County 2-0 in the International semifinals. It gave up no runs for the fifth consecutive game, but it was its closest game so far as it won just 3-0. Every other game in the tournament it had won by at least 10 runs.
Guayama will be looking to give Hermosillo an even closer game as it tries to be the first team to score on the team from Mexico. Guayama also comes into the game with a perfect record in the tournament and has given up just three total runs. Thursday it got a tough game against San Nicolas, but it was able to come away with the 2-0 win.
