Adama Sanogo leads UConn with averages of 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while Tristen Newton scores 12.6 points. The Cowboys have won three straight games and are led by Avery Anderson III's 12.7 points per game. Moussa Cisse, meanwhile, gets 10.0 points and 10.6 rebounds nightly. Dan Hurley is in his fifth year with the Huskies and is 81-47 with consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. In his sixth year at OSU, Mike Boynton is 92-75.

UConn rolled to three straight double-digit wins in Portland, culminating with a 71-53 victory over Iowa State in the championship game on Sunday. Donovan Clingan came off the bench for 15 points and 10 rebounds while Andre Jackson Jr. had 10 points, 13 boards and five assists, also in a reserve role.
Oklahoma State routed visiting Prairie View on Sunday, 78-53. Anderson dropped 16 points, while Cisse went for 13 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. Bryce Thompson also scored 13 points. with none of the starters playing more than 28 minutes.
This is the third meeting between the Cowboys and Huskies and the first at one of the campus sites. Oklahoma State is 2-0 all-time, most recently meeting on Nov. 21, 2016, in the opening round of the Maui Invitational. OSU picked up a 98-90 victory.
