The San Francisco Giants host the Colorado Rockies in the second game of a three-game set after sweeping a four-game set in Denver last week. While the Giants aren't officially out of the playoff picture, they are mostly trying to finish the season strong.

Yesterday, the Giants kept their winning streak alive with a 5-2 win over the Rockies behind a pair of solo home runs from Joc Pederson and J.D. Davis and a solid pitching performance from Logan Webb to earn his 15th win of the season. 

Jose Urena (3-7, 5.34 ERA) will get the start for the Rockies as they go for just their third win in the last 10 games. Urena is 1-1 against the Giants this season. He was saddled with a loss after allowing two earned runs over 5.2 innings on Thursday.

Pederson has one career home run off Urena and is 9-for-15 lifetime against the right-hander.

Rockies designated hitter Charlie Blackmon leads the team with a .264 batting average and has a hit in 10 of his last eleven games against the Giants.

The Giants have won 12 of 17 games against the Rockies this season.
