How to Watch Cardinals at Pirates: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel
Albert Pujols just played in his last regular season home stand in St. Louis against the Pittsburgh Pirates. In his last at-bat, Pujols pulled off the miraculous once again by hitting the 702nd homer of his career. It gives you goosebumps to know that he hit his first homer in his first at-bat in St. Louis in 2001. The Gateway to the West is truly the home of The Machine. If all that wasn't enough, he hit another homer in the series opener against the Pirates in Pittsburgh to bring his career total to 703 in this first game of the last series of the season. This brings his season total to 23 homers. Granted, 2020 was shortened but that is exactly how many he hit in 2020 and 2021 combined.

Not to become repetitive, but if that wasn't enough, the homer brought him to 2,214 RBIs which moved him past Babe Ruth for the second most in major league history.
All of the heroics Pujols brought on Monday wasn't enough to get the win though as the Cardinals dropped to Pittsburgh 3-2. The Pirates rallied in the eighth and ninth innings. They earned four consecutive walks in the bottom of the ninth to walk it off. Dakota Hudson (8-7, 4.07 ERA) will get the start tonight for St. Louis while JT Brubaker (3-12, 4.58 ERA) will go for Pittsburgh.
