Snow Job
Though seemingly mesmerized by the weather conditions at Camden Yards on Monday, Ellis Burks of the Cleveland Indians connects for a fly ball that Baltimore Orioles rightfielder ay Gibbons lost in the flakes. Burks was credited with an RBI single, and the game was immediately halted for 13 minutes until the snow shower passed. The Orioles finally won the game 6-5 in the 13th inning.

Bronx Bummer
New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter writhes in pain after a violent collision at third base with Toronto Blue Jays catcher Ken Huckaby at the SkyDome on Monday. Jeter was going from first to third on an infield out and slid headfirst. Huckaby, racing to cover the bag, took the throw from first base and unintentionally slammed into Jeter with his knee. Jeter suffered a dislocated left shoulder. The Yankees won the game 8-4.
