Brooks Kieschnick, 30, tried to make the Brewers as an outfielder and a pitcher. How'd he do? SI's Kieschometer tells all. Our tale of two Kieschnicks ended on March 26, when Milwaukee sent him to Triple A Indianapolis. Kieschnick finished the spring batting .429 with seven RBIs; in 13? innings he was 3-0 with a 3.95 ERA. Though disappointed, Kieschnick hopes to return to the majors, where he has played 113 games as an outfielder: "There's no saying I won't get called up a day, a week or a month from now."
