Zaleski, a senior at Denison, led the Big Red to a second straight North Coast Athletic Conference title, earning her third swimmer of the year honor after winning the 50-meter freestyle, 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, plus swimming a leg on each of four winning relay teams. In 2009 she was the NCAA Division III champ in the 100 back.

Hunter, a senior at Poplar High, won his fourth straight state title with a first-period pin in the Class B/C 145-pound championship match. Previously he won titles in the 119-, 125- and 135-pound classes. This season he was 43--1 to finish his high school career 145--19; only six of those defeats came over the last three seasons.
