Welcome to the first SPORTS ILLUSTRATED GOLF+ PGA Tour Confidential Issue. You may be familiar with PGA Tour Confidential. In 2008 we inaugurated the print version of the Confidential roundtable as part of our SIGOLF+ major championship previews, and in 2009 we launched a weekly digital edition on GOLF.com. Because both versions have been a hit with readers, this year we are devoting an entire issue to the franchise.

Welcome to the first SPORTS ILLUSTRATED GOLF+ PGA Tour Confidential Issue. You may be familiar with PGA Tour Confidential. PGA TOUR CONFIDENTIAL

Inside, you will find new variations on the theme. For one, the five panelists on the Confidential round table, moderated by SI senior writer Gary Van Sickle, are all PGA Tour veterans, a first for us. But we are most proud of the six very personal, highly compelling first-person accounts of what it's really like to play the game, and live the life, at golf's highest level. We think you'll be surprised and informed by the level of candor of our player authors. Finally, we expanded our annual PGA Tour Survey (10 years running) to include LPGA and Champions tour players. As usual, their responses are entertaining as well as educational.
