BALTIMORE > LACROSSE

Stanwick, a senior attacker at Virginia, led the Cavaliers with three goals and four assists in a 15--10 win over North Carolina for his fourth seven-plus-point game this season. He leads the nation in assists (3.25 per game) and is fourth in points (4.75) through Sunday, and he is the 46th NCAA D-I player to reach the century mark in both career goals and assists. Stanwick won college lacrosse's highest honor, the Tewaaraton Trophy, last year after leading Virginia to the NCAA title.

MICHELLE MOULTRIE

JACKSONVILLE > SOFTBALL

Moultrie, a senior centerfielder at Florida, led the Gators to a three-game sweep over Arkansas, going 8 for 11, with three doubles and two homers. In 2011 she led all players at the Women's College World Series in hits, doubles, homers, total bases and stolen bases to be named co--Most Outstanding Player, and she helped Team USA win gold at both the World Cup of Softball and Pan American Games. Florida's career stolen bases leader (78), she's a finalist for USA Softball's college player of the year.

TYLER PENNEL

GOLDEN, COLO. > TRACK AND FIELD

Pennel, a senior at Western State College, ran an NCAA season-best 28:23.54 in the 10,000-meters at the Stanford Invitational for the fifth fastest time in the world so far this year. His performance, nearly 16 seconds ahead of the No. 2 collegiate time, met the Olympic Trials B standard and earned him recognition from the Bowerman Award, given to the NCAA's top track and field athlete of the year. Pennel was the D-II cross-country runner-up last fall to help the Mountaineers to the national title.
