ENEMY lines WHAT A RIVAL COACH SAYS

"MY GUESS IS THAT the Falcons will try to get back to running the ball. Last year Michael Turner had 1,300 yards, but Atlanta couldn't run when it needed to. Remember the fourth-and-inches against the Saints? The problem was with the offensive line and then losing to injury fullback Ovie Mughelli, who was an excellent blocker. That's why the Falcons spent their first two draft picks on linemen and their third pick on a fullback.

I'm going to assume that Turner will be the workhorse again. Backup Jason Snelling is a 500-yard guy who can fill in if Turner goes down. I bet the coaches make Jacquizz Rodgers a bigger part of the offense, on third downs. He's a Maurice Jones-Drew type, just not as good.

Because the Falcons couldn't run, Matt Ryan needed to throw and had his best year in passing yards. His numbers will depend on whether the ground game improves.

Roddy White didn't have a great season and still caught 100-plus balls. He'll have more catches this year.

Julio Jones won't have as many catches as White, but Jones will have more touchdowns. He's more explosive than White and can take a short pass and turn it into a touchdown.... Slot receiver Harry Douglas could have better numbers, but there are only so many balls to go around.

Tony Gonzalez really benefited from the lack of a running game last year. He's 36, but he's still a reliable pass catcher."
