INDELIBLE MOMENT After playing the majority of the first 53 Iron Bowls against Alabama in Birmingham, the rivalry came to Auburn for the first time on Dec. 2, 1989. The No. 10 Tigers defeated the No. 2 Crimson Tide 30--20.

COLLEGE KNOWLEDGE Auburn's the only school at which John Heisman coached that has a Heisman Trophy winner: Pat Sullivan (1971), Bo Jackson ('85), Cam Newton (2010).
