RB AKEEM SHAVERS SENIOR
Shavers generated 519 yards and six touchdowns on the ground as a backup in 2011. After starter Ralph Bolden suffered the third ACL tear of his career in the regular-season finale, Shavers ran for 149 yards in the Little Caesars Bowl to garner MVP honors.
QB CALEB TERBUSH SENIOR
TerBush was thrust into the starting role when Rob Henry was injured less than two weeks before the 2011 opener. The 6' 5" 225-pounder wasn't intercepted in the final four games.
