INDELIBLE MOMENT The Lavar Leap. On Oct. 31, 1998, linebacker Lavar Arrington timed the snap count and stuffed Illinois running back Elmer Hickman on a fourth-and-one.

COLLEGE KNOWLEDGE PSU's colors were originally pink and black, but when sun exposure dulled the pink to white, the team stuck with it and switched from black to blue.
