INDELIBLE MOMENT Black 41 Flash Reverse led Nebraska to a 20--10 win over Oklahoma on Oct. 27, 2001. Nebraska QB Eric Crouch handed off to running back Thunder Collins, who pitched to receiver Mike Stuntz, who threw a spiral to Crouch; the future Heisman Trophy winner went 63 yards for a touchdown. The Sooners had tried a variation of the trick play a few snaps earlier, but Oklahoma QB Nate Hybl slipped and the pass fell incomplete.
COLLEGE KNOWLEDGE On Huskers game days, Memorial Stadium becomes the third largest city in the state of Nebraska, behind Omaha and Lincoln.
