Torrey Pines. It's a beautiful spot. I love it there and think it's cool that they use two courses. Tiger was back this year, and it just feels right. He belongs on that course, having won like 127 times there.
Riviera is easily the best.
Except for the traffic.
All right, Riviera is the best if you can get there. There isn't a better event. It has history, prestigious players like to play there and the course has stood the test of time. They haven't jacked all the tees back, yet guys don't shoot lights out. It's a great classic course.
For me, it's Pebble Beach. First, simply because it's Pebble. It's so beautiful. Even though the celebrities aren't what they used to be, the pro-am format is a reminder that it's the ordinary golfer who supports the pro golfer and not the other way around. We are the engine that drives the game, and that is worth remembering.
