A new NBA season tips off Tuesday night when the defending champion Nuggets host the Lakers in a Western Conference Finals rematch. Unsurprisingly, Denver is tied for the highest projected win total at SI Sportsbook with the Celtics at 54.5 wins.

From the title contenders to the teams projected to be picking in the lottery, SI Sportsbook has over/unders for every team in the NBA. Below you’ll find three best bets for the season as well as the lines and odds for all 30 teams.

Milwaukee Bucks Over 53.5 Wins (+100)

The Bucks have the most regular-season wins over the last five seasons and it’s not close. They’ve won 50 games (or the equivalent) each year and have at least 55 wins three times during that dominant stretch. This year’s team, with Giannis Antetokounmpo paired with Damian Lillard, has a chance to be even better than any previous versions of Milwaukee. Though they’ll be worse off on defense without Jrue Holiday and are relying on a rookie coach in Adrian Griffin, Antetokounmpo has shown that a healthy season is worth 50 wins, at least. Adding Lillard and playing in the weaker of the two conferences is certainly worth a few extra victories.

Los Angeles Clippers Under 46.5 Wins (+100)

The last time the Clippers won 47 games was the 2020-21 season, when they made a run to the Western Conference Finals. Since then, Paul George has appeared in 87 regular-season games and Kawhi Leonard has played in 52. L.A.’s all-stars are aging and the roster around them isn’t built to compete in the West, where the majority of the teams are projected to win 40-plus games. The Clippers were average on offense and defense last season and a quiet offseason did little to inspire confidence in their ability to return to the top of the conference.

Indiana Pacers Over 35.5 Wins (-152)

The Pacers were a .500 team (28–28) with Tyrese Haliburton on the floor last season. Without him they went 7–19, a winning percentage that would have put them in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes over a full year. Indiana’s all-star guard rejoins a revamped starting lineup that added Bruce Brown and Obi Toppin in the offseason. Between Buddy Hield, T.J. McConnell, Andrew Nembhard and rookie Jarace Walker, the Pacers have a claim to one of the NBA’s best bench units. Their defense still leaves a lot to be desired, but this team is trending in the right direction.

The only thing that should be cause for pause with this wager is the heavy juice on the over. Because of that, there might be more value in betting on Indiana to make the play-in tournament at plus odds.
