Steelers Projected Win Total and Odds:

9 wins OVER -125/UNDER +105

2019: 8-8
2018: 9-6-1
2017: 13-3

We're now three years removed from a 10 or more win season. It seems like a big ask for the Steelers to secure 10 wins, if only because it's assumed the bottom-half of the AFC North (Cincinnati and Cleveland) will be improved. Baltimore will likely be as good as they were in 2019 and even if they take a step back, the Ravens are an excellent team and far from a pushover. Feels best to play the UNDER here and hope to avoid a push.

Fun Facts from 2019:

  • The Steelers’ defense led the NFL in sacks (54) and turnovers created (16 fumble recoveries and 21 interceptions).
  • Pittsburgh’s TE gained a league-low 7.7 yards per catch.
  • The loss of Ben Roethlisberger led to them falling to 31st in yards per pass attempts (6.28) and passing yards (3,203).
  • A downgrade at QB paired with toe and knee issues led to Juju Smith-Schuster catching only 42 passes for 552 yards and three TDs or 38.3 percent of his production in fantasy points in PPR leagues from 2018 (111/1426/7).
  • Rookie Diontae Johnson led the team in receptions (59) with no other receiver catching over 47 balls.
