Belmont Stakes is Tiz the Law’s Race to Lose
The oddsmakers have their eyes on Tiz the Law for the Belmont Stakes and have made him the heavy favorite for the first race in this year’s Triple Crown.
Originally scheduled for June 6th and traditionally the last leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes has been rescheduled due to the coronavirus to June 20th. For the first time history it will also be the first race in the Triple Crown.
There’s another change for this year’s prestigious race that takes place in Elmont, New York. The Belmont is typically the longest race in the Triple Crown but instead this year it will be the shortest race with a total length of a 1 1/8 miles.
