Manny Pacquiao, Timothy Bradley to fight for third time on April 9
Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley will fight for the third time on April 9 in what is likely the final fight for the Filipino superstar, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum announced Wednesday.
Dan Rafael of ESPN reports that while the paperwork is still being finalized, the deal with Pacquiao has been closed and the 37-year-old has already received a $2 million advance.
The two have each taken a decision in their previous fights, with Bradley winning a controversial split decision in the first bout and Pacquiao winning an easy, unanimous decision in the second.
Bradley is currently the WBO welterweight champion.

The fight would be the first for Pacquiao in almost a year since he lost to Floyd Mayweather on May 2.
Pacquiao fought with a torn rotator cuff against Mayweather. He had the injury surgically repaired following the loss.
After his last fight, Pacquiao is expected to continue his political work in the Philippines, were he is currently a congressman. He is seeking a seat in the Philippines senate.
