Caitlin Clark’s WNBA Teammates Found Sweetest Way to Celebrate Her Iowa Graduation
The University of Iowa held its 2024 graduation ceremonies over the weekend but one of the school's biggest stars in the history of its sports programs, basketball legend Caitlin Clark, was unable to attend.
Clark, who led the Hawkeyes to the NCAA title game last month, is busy getting ready for her highly anticipated WNBA debut on Tuesday night and couldn't make the trip back to Iowa City to collect her diploma.
Her Indiana Fever teammates, however, found a very sweet way to celebrate Clark's achievement as they threw their own graduation ceremony for the No. 1 pick in last month's WNBA draft:
That was pretty awesome.
Clark's WNBA career starts Tuesday night with a road game against the Connecticut Sun at 8 p.m., which will be shown on ESPN.
