It has been a busy couple of days for Calgary.

The Stampeders re-signed defensive back Kobe Williams on Tuesday, and according to 3DownNation, they also agreed to terms with defensive lineman Ricky Walker and offensive lineman Trevon Tate.

Williams started all 18 games last season in the Stampeders secondary, making 49 total tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and eight pass deflections. He has been with Calgary since 2021, appearing in 30 games, and he previously had a short NFL stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Walker just completed his third CFL season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, appearing in 17 games in 2023 and racking up career highs in tackles (37) and sacks (5) after playing in a combined 19 games the previous two years. He also spent time in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns, as well as the XFL in 2020 with the Tampa Bay Vipers.

Tate started in eight of the 10 games he played in last season with the Toronto Argonauts, appearing at both tackle positions. He had been on the Argos since 2021, winning a Grey Cup in 2022. Tate also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Ottawa Redblacks in his CFL career.

Williams is allowed to ink his new deal with the Stampeders because he was a pending free agent for them. Walker's and Tate’s deals won’t become official until Feb. 13.
