The Winnipeg Blue Bombers weren't expected to get out of the East Finals, but go into the Grey Cup as 7.5-point favorites over the Montreal Alouettes, according to FanDuel.

The Alouettes are no strangers to being the underdogs in games this postseason. Montreal went into their Eastern Final matchup against the Toronto Argonauts as 9.5-point underdogs.

It was expected that Winnipeg would be the favorites, as the Bombers have won two of the last three Grey Cups and are appearing in their fourth straight title game.

A little bit of a different story for the Alouettes, as they ,have not appeared in a Grey Cup since 2010. Montreal won Grey Cups that season and in 2009 as well.

Winnipeg is coming off a 24-13 win over the BC Lions in the Western Final to earn the trip to the Grey Cup. The Bombers finished with the best record in the West Division at 14-4, clinching a bye week in the CFL playoffs.

Montreal had a tougher road finishing second in the East at 11-7. The Alouettes had to beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 27-12 in the East Semifinals before pulling off the biggest upset of the season against Toronto last week.

During the season, the Bombers and Alouettes played each other twice, with Winnipeg winning both by double digits. The Blue Bombers outscored the Alouettes 64-20 in those two games.

Montreal is looking to pull another upset in the Grey Cup and end their Cinderella season on a high note against a dominant Blue Bombers team.
