Hamilton Tiger-Cats Sign Two Americans, One Canadian

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed three players, including American defensive backs Arquon Bush and Maxwell Worship, and Canadian kicker Keiran Burnham.

Three more players are joining the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the 2024 season.

The team announced the signings of American defensive backs Arquon Bush and Maxwell Worship, along with Canadian kicker Keiran Burnham.

Bush was a member of the Cincinnati Bearcats roster over the last five seasons, finishing his college career with 115 tackles, four tackles for loss, nine interceptions, 32 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two blocked kicks. He went undrafted in the NFL Draft and signed with the Seattle Seahawks before being released.

Worship had a successful five-year college career with Vanderbilt from 2018 through 2022. He recorded 153 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, one forced fumble and eight pass deflections. Worship also attended the Tennessee Titans’ rookie minicamp this year.

Burham kicked for St. Francis Xavier University from 2016 through 2020 and finished with 234 punts while converting 78 percent of his field goals. He was drafted by Calgary in the seventh round of the 2020 CFL Draft, where he played through 2022 before joining the BC Lions last season.

The transactions follow a week in which Hamilton signed six players and re-signed two others.
