The opportunities continue for CFL players as three were a part of a workout with the Tennessee Titans Tuesday, according to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson

The players that were brought in were:

  • Samuel Emilus, WR, Saskatchewan Roughriders
  • Carthell Flowers-Lloyd, LB, Hamilton Tiger-Cats
  • Reggie Stubblefield, DB, Montreal Alouettes

Emilus was one of 11 receivers last season in the CFL to record more than 1,000 yards. He finished 2023 with 70 receptions for 1,097 yards and six touchdowns in 18 games. The Roughriders selected him in the first round of the 2022 CFL Draft.

Flowers-Lloyd completed his first season in the CFL for Hamilton, recording 31 special teams tackles in 18 games. In his lone season at Stony Brook in 2022, he recorded 70 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, two sacks, four pass deflections, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Stubblefield also finished his first year with the Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes. In 13 games, he recorded 41 total tackles, three sacks, two interceptions and one forced fumble. He was a nominee for the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie of the Year award. Earlier in the year, he was a member of XFL’s D.C. Defenders.

Emilus had previous workouts with the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. Flowers-Lloyd has worked out with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Patriots. This is the first NFL workout for Stubblefield this offseason.

There is one week remaining in the NFL regular season.
