Dean is from Darien Connecticut where he grew up an avid sports fan growing up rooting for the Yankees, Rangers, the cursed Jets, and the Nets. He grew up collecting baseball and hockey cards in the 1990's with his father. Dean grew up collecting Don Mattingly, Derek Jeter, and Mark Messier. He also collected some Batman cards as a kid, as he grew up watching the movies and TV shows as a kid. Like most people, Dean got back into the hobby during Covid. What attracted him most was Formula 1, because he roots for Ferrari and it was a brand new product released by Topps. Dean, still collects Formula 1 along with his favorite Yankees, Willie Mays modern era cards, and he recently got into Marvel.
