Iowa State forward Jarrod Uthoff scored 30 points in the first half of the Hawkeyes’ game against Iowa State Thursday night, tying the most points by an Iowa player in any game over the last four seasons.
Uthoff finished the game with 32 points, topping a career high 27 points he scored against Western Illinois on Monday.
Coming into the game Uthoff was averaging 18.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists this season.

The Cyclones defeated the Hawkeyes 83–82 to improve their record to 8–0. Iowa State guard Monte Morris sunk the game winning shot to give his team the one point victory.
The Hawkeyes fell to 7–3.
