Week 14 college football picks: USC vs. Stanford, UNC vs. Clemson, more

College football Week 14 picks: SI.com's writers predict winners for Clemson-North Carolina, Stanford-USC and more.

The College Football Playoff picture was cleared up last Saturday as some teams strengthened their cases for spots in the final field of four while other squads suffered losses that knocked them out of contention. It won’t be long before the selection committee reveals who will be competing for the national championship. There may not be as many intriguing games this week as there were in previous weeks, but a few will affect the playoff.

Florida will try to stun Alabama in the SEC championship game. Iowa and Michigan State will meet in the Big Ten championship game with a CFP berth on the line. Clemson will try to remain undefeated in the ACC title game against a North Carolina team that has won 11 consecutive games. A group of SI.com college football writers—Andy Staples, Pete Thamel, Thayer Evans, Zac Ellis, Colin Becht, Lindsay Schnell, Brian Hamilton and Ben Glicksman—offers its predictions for those contests and more.
