NEW ORLEANS -- This is the sleepiest first-day scene I've witnessed in six years covering the NCAA tournament. An hour before tip of Notre Dame-Old Dominion, there was barely anyone outside the arena, and barely anyone inside the arena. It's possible that no one wakes up before noon here following St. Patrick's Day.
