Aaron Murray

He was named to the SEC coaches' All-Freshman Team after throwing for 3,049 yards and completing more than 61 percent of his passes last year. His 3,216 total yards from scrimmage were second most in SEC history for a freshman.

Marcus Lattimore

Last season's National Freshman of the Year is tough to bring down: His school-record-breaking (for a freshman) 2010 season of 1,197 rushing yards and 17 rushing TDs included three games of 180-plus yards. In a win over Florida, Lattimore went for 212 yards. He also caught 29 passes in '10.

Michael Dyer

Dyer broke Bo Jackson's Auburn freshman rushing record with 1,093 yards last season, capping the year with an Offensive MVP performance and game-breaking 37-yard run on the biggest of all stages: the national championship game against Oregon.

Alshon Jeffery

The determined 6-4, 233-pounder led the SEC in receiving yards in 2010 and is poised to add to his 11 career 100-plus-yard receiving games. He's on his way to setting all of the Gamecocks' major receiving records.

Greg Childs

A knee injury knocked Childs out for the year in the eighth game of what was still a highly productive 2010 season. A big-play threat (he averaged 18.6 yards a catch in '09), he tied for the team lead with six TD catches last year.

Philip Lutzenkirchen

The 6-4, 253-pounder is a touchdown maker: He's already just two shy of the Auburn record for TDs by a tight end (seven). No wonder his role is expected to expand this season.

Bradley Sowell

Even at 6-7, 315 pounds, the left tackle is one of the SEC's most athletic linemen. He is the (very) big reason Ole Miss allowed the conference's fewest sacks in 2010 (14) and was third in rushing yards per game (207.6).

Barrett Jones

At 6-5 and 311 pounds the third-year starter can also play tackle -- and the violin. He has traveled to Haiti as a volunteer to aid earthquake victims.

William Vlachos

The third-year starter is small by 0-line standards (6-1, 294) but mighty.

Larry Warford

The 6-3, 340-pounder led the Wildcats in knockdown blocks in 2010 with 43.

Cordy Glenn

A standout guard (where he'd made 32 of his 36 starts through last season), the 6-5, 320-pound Glenn has moved to left tackle.

Devin Taylor

On the Gamecocks' dangerous line, the 6-7, 248-pounder is an explosive playmaker, as shown by the 71/2 sacks (fourth in the SEC) and 12 tackles for loss he had last season, his first as a full-time starter.

Josh Chapman

Opponents will need to employ two offensive linemen to block this ferocious nosetackle, and that might not be enough. At 6-1, 310 pounds, Chapman made 18 solo tackles last season.

Fletcher Cox

Another lineman who will occupy at least a couple of blockers on almost every play, this 300-pounder ran on his high school's 4 x 100 relay team.

Jake Bequette

A third-generation Razorback, the athletic 6-5 pass rusher led Arkansas in sacks in 2010 with seven. He also contributed 8 1/2 tackles for loss and five quarterback hurries and broke up three passes.

Jerry Franklin

The converted safety is a relentless tackler -- he made a team-best 100 last season -- and an able playmaker who had 6 1/2 sacks.

Danny Trevathan

As the Wildcats' best defensive player, the speedy 6-1, 230-pounder led the SEC with 144 tackles in 2010 and was second in the conference with four forced fumbles and third with 16 tackles for loss.

Courtney Upshaw

The hybrid defensive end-linebacker (he is 6-2 and 265 pounds) had seven sacks in 2010 and played his best late in the season.

Morris Claiborne

An able ball hawk (five picks in 2010), the 6-foot, 177-pound Claiborne should continue, and expand upon, his excellent play even in the absence of departed All-America cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Robert Lester

His eight interceptions last season were the second most in the nation, and he also showed he can stop a ballcarrier cold, making 29 solo tackles.

Mark Barron

He's entering his third year as a starter and coming off a 2010 season in which he led the Crimson Tide with 75 tackles.

Dre Kirkpatrick

His height (6-3) is just one reason why QBs won't often throw his way -- Kirkpatrick made three interceptions and broke up seven passes in 2010. Fast and a strong hitter, he rounds out 'Bama's dominant defensive backfield.

Blair Walsh

Superbly accurate, Walsh connected on 20 of 23 field goal attempts and 46 of 47 extra-point tries in 2010. That's 106 points -- exactly how many he needs to tie the SEC's all-time career scoring mark of 409.

Drew Butler

The other half of Georgia's dynamic kicking duo, Butler won the Ray Guy Award in 2009 and was a finalist last season. He has averaged 46.1 yards a kick over his career has had 35 percent of his punts downed inside the 20.

Andre Debose

Still developing as a receiver, the speedster, who has drawn comparisons with ex-Gator Percy Harvin, averaged 28.0 yards on his 21 kickoff returns in 2010, running two in for touchdowns.

Joe Adams

His average of 15.6 yards per return was fifth in the nation in 2010. On just 16 returns he scored one touchdown (97 yards against Ole Miss) and had a 62-yard TD against Georgia called back because of a blocking penalty.
