The last time we heard of Georgia offensive lineman Kolton Houston, he was the subject of a supremely catty exchange between Bulldogs AD Greg McGarity and Mark Emmert just prior to the 2012 season. Houston, you may recall, took an anabolic steroid in high school while rehabbing a shoulder injury and lost out on playing college ball when traces of the substance remained detectable by drug tests years later. Six months later, his name no longer appears on the UGA football roster. Seth Emerson caught up with Georgia SID Claude Felton for an update on the situation:

"Kolton is currently not working out with the team which is the same as has been the case since his NCAA eligibility has been in question. But his status is the same as last fall. He's still on scholarship and work still being done to restore his eligibility as has been the case the last 2-3 years."

Kolton Houston,
