Don't drink and boat, college football fans. Georgia sophomore kicker Marshall Morgan was arrested on Saturday and charged with boating under the influence, according to the Eatonton (Ga.) Messenger.

Georgia Department of Natural Resources Ranger Cpl. Lynn Stanford said Morgan was arrested at Lake Sinclair in Georgia's Putnam County:

“I actually took the call of an individual operating a watercraft towing two inner tubes without a spotter, which is a violation of Georgia boating regulations.

“I responded to the call in the Rooty Creek area, off what I believe to be the area around where Cold Branch Road is located in Putnam County, to find the craft. The driver of the boat appeared to be under the influence.”

According to Stanford, Morgan admitted to drinking and agreed to a field sobriety test. Under Georgia BUI law, individuals under the age of 21 may not meet or exceed a .02 blood alcohol content; Stanford said Morgan's test showed a substantial enough level of alcohol to make an arrest. Morgan was charged with operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol and towing a skier without an observer on board.

University of Georgia sports information director Claude Felton told the Messenger via email, "Coach [Mark] Richt is aware of the situation."
