There are plenty of things reporters could have asked Mike Leach at Pac-12 media day on Friday. How to reform the NCAA; how to fix an offense that ranked 108th in scoring and 124th in rushing a year ago; how to bounce back after a disappointing 3-9 season which included an eight-game losing streak.
Naturally, however, one of the first questions Leach fielded was about Jadeveon Clowney. How did Leach respond?
"The Clowney hit is why we have football," Leach said. "It's why football was invented."
