Former Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla has signed with an agent and will enter the 2014 NFL Draft, Matt Miller of the Bleacher Report reports.
Lyerla signed with XL Sports Agency and will continue working out as he prepares for the draft, Miller reports.
Lyerla, a junior, informed Ducks coach Mark Helfrich on Oct. 6 that he would be withdrawing from school. The former five-star recruit said in a school statement that his departure was on good terms.
"I love everyone at Oregon; everyone’s on good terms, I believe,” Lyerla said. “Just for my own benefit, it was time to move on.”

“I wish nothing but the best for coach Helfrich and the team,” Lyerla said. “I love the University of Oregon and am so thankful for every opportunity that I had. I’m going to use everything I learned from this program and do my best to be successful in whatever happens in the future.”
Lyerla played in three games this season and had two catches for 26 yards and three rushes for 17 yards and one touchdown. He finished his Oregon career with 34 receptions for 565 yards and 11 touchdowns.
