Notre Dame nose guard Louis Nix III will miss Saturday's game against Navy with lingering knee tendinitis, Irish coach Brian Kelly announced on Thursday.
Nix missed last week's game against Air Force to nurse the injury, and Kona Schwenke started in his place. Nix has been banged up for much of the season. He also injured his shoulder against USC earlier this year.
