Winter is coming. The AP's Jim Vertuno is reporting Nick Saban's agent, Jimmy Sexton, let Texas officials know that Texas was the only job the Crimson Tide coach would "consider leaving Alabama for" in January. Sexton also said Saban was under "special pressure" because of the team's recent success.

From the AP:

[Texas Regent Tom] Hicks detailed the call in a Sept. 24 email that was obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press through an open-records request.

"Sexton confirmed that UT is the only job Nick would possibly consider leaving Alabama for, and that his success there created special pressure for him," Hicks wrote.

Fire up your radios, get your message board typing fingers ready, buy a jumbo-sized pack of Little Debbies, and dig in. This thing isn't going away. #Saban2014 is actually something more than a burnt-orange joke. May the college football overlords have mercy on all our souls.
