Penn State is looking for a new coach, and now it will be searching for a new leading wide receiver for next season, too. Nittany Lions receiver Allen Robinson will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft, the school announced Thursday.

Robinson led the Big Ten in catches (97) and reception yards (1,432), the first Penn State player since 1985 to lead the conference in those two categories in consecutive seasons. He also made six touchdown grabs this season. Robinson's 174 receptions and 2,445 receiving yards during the past two seasons both rank third in Big Ten history. With the early end to his college career, Robinson finishes second in program history in career receptions (177) and third in career receiving yardage (2,474 yds) for the Nittany Lions.

In a statement, Robinson thanked Penn State and his teammates.

"It was a great honor to play at Penn State," Robinson said. "I am blessed to have played with, and for, the people in the Penn State football program. This is a decision that I believe is best for my family and I, and I wish all the best to the University and all my teammates."
