Steven Parker made 96 tackles and seven interceptions over the past two seasons.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops added a big piece to his 2014 signing class on Tuesday when four-star safety Steven Parkercommitted to the Sooners.

Parker of Jenks (Okla.) High is the No. 6 safety in the class of 2014, according to Rivals.com. He had narrowed his list of schools to Oklahoma, Auburn and Texas A&M.

The Sooners currently rank No. 21 in Rivals.com's team rankings, second in the Big 12 behind Texas (No. 14). But Oklahoma remains in the running for four-star prospect Michiah Quick, the country's No. 4 athlete, among others, so it's still possible that Stoops could finish National Signing Day with the Big 12's top signing class.
