The College Football Hall of Fame will open next month in Atlanta, Georgia, a week before the start of the college football season, the National Football Foundation announced.

The new 94,000 square foot, $66 million building will open Aug. 23, and will be officially known as The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience, after the Chick-fil-A company signed a 30-year agreement as the lead sponsor.

The site is located near the Georgia Dome, overlooks Centennial Olympic Park and opens two days before it was originally supposed to.

“It’s not often that a construction project opens early, but we are,” John Stephenson, president and CEO of Atlanta Hall Management said, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
