Dayton Flyers unveil new logo and jerseys
Fresh off the school's first Elite Eight appearance in 30 years, the Dayton Flyers have unveiled a whole new look. The school revealed today a new logo (to go on a new floor at the team's arena) and new men's basketball uniforms.
The old floor at Dayton Arena featured the words "Dayton Flyers" at center court. The new logo is a stylized letter D. The new logo also appears on the shorts of the newly-redesigned uniform.
SUCCESSOR SERIES: Who would succeed Roy Williams?
Dayton revealed the designs for three new uniforms: a white set for home games, red for on the road and a "midnight blue" alternate set.
"Our new logo will certainly be a success factor for our program," Dayton head coach Archie Miller said in a statement. "From the start, I've been an advocate of a unified identity which can continue to sell a new day and age for our program. Our brand is as strong as it's ever been and this will continue to keep us in the nation's basketball mindset.
