Former Washington State quarterback Tyler Bruggman has decided to transfer to Louisville, Bruggman told Mike Hughes of InsideTheVille.com.
Bruggman decided to transfer earlier this month. He spent one season with the Cougars, taking a redshirt his freshman year.
A native of Phoenix, Bruggman was rated a four-star recruit and the No. 18 pro-style quarterback in the country by Rivals.com. He picked Washington State after decommitting from Arizona State shortly before signing day, and also had offers from programs such as Michigan State, Arkansas and Ole Miss.
Fellow quarterback Austin Apodaca also decided to transfer from Washington State earlier this offseason, leaving freshman Peyton Bender and walk-on redshirt freshman Luke Falk as the only backups behind starter Connor Halliday.
