Duke's Coach K: 'I do not see an end of my road in my college coaching'

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said that he is in good health and has no plans to retire anytime soon as he prepares to coach Team USA in next month’s FIBA World Cup in Spain.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said that he is in good health and has no plans to retire anytime soon as he prepares to coach Team USA in next month’s FIBA World Cup in Spain.

Krzyzewski, 67, has a 983-306 record in 39 seasons of coaching at the collegiate level. He also has coached Team USA to two gold medals.

"I'm going to coach USA, and this is true, through Rio [in the 2016 Olympics]. I might coach in college longer,” Krzyzewski said to Yahoo Sports. “Probably. I do not see an end of my road in my college coaching." 

Krzyzewski got lightheaded during a loss to Wake Forest in March and Duke was eliminated weeks later in the NCAA tournament by No. 14 seed Mercer. 

"The second half of the season, especially that month, right after was different than I've ever had. It just wore me down a little bit. I'm good," Krzyzewski said. "I feel great. There is nothing. No problem."
