Louisiana Tech will wear its Bulldog logo on helmets for the first time in an Oct. 4 home game against UTEP, the program announced Wednesday.

Louisiana Tech has worn its primary State-and-T logo on helmets since 1968, and will still wear it for all other 2014 games.

The Bulldogs will also wear red jerseys against UTEP as part of their annual "RED OUT."

The Bulldogs finished 4-8 last season and open the season at Oklahoma on Aug. 30.
