Dual-threat QB prospect Deondre Francois commits to Florida State

Quarterback recruit Deondre Francois verbally committed to Florida State on Thursday.
Francois is the No. 8-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.
Francois chose Florida State over offers from Auburn, Notre Dame and Oregon, among other programs.
He becomes the 17th member, and one of three dual-threat quarterbacks, in Florida State's 2015 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 9 in the country by Rivals.
The other dual-threat quarterbacks in the class are De'Andre Johnson and Kai Locksley, who also announced his verbal commitment on Thursday.
