Auburn Tigers 2014 schedule
The Auburn Tigers finished 12-2 overall and 7-1 in the SEC last season. After taking first place in the SEC West, the Tigers went on to defeat Missouri in the SEC title game but lost in the BCS Championship Game to the Florida State Seminoles. The defending runner-up enters 2014 ranked No. 7 in SI's preseason Top 25.
While Auburn faces a big loss with running back Tre Mason's departure to the NFL, the team does return quarterback Nick Marshall (after he's reinstated from a suspension for receiving a marijuana citation) and center Reese Dismukes, named a preseason second team All-American by SI.com. The defense took a tough blow when defensive end Carl Lawsontore his ACL, likely putting him out for the entire season.
