Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill has been thrust into the spotlight after throwing fir 511 yards to lead the Aggies to a 52-28 upset of South Carolina, and the sophomore said the reaction has been "crazy" and "kind of fun."

Kenny Hill chooses preferred nickname: Kenny Trill

Hill's 511 yards set a school record, breaking the one set by now-NFL QB Johnny Manziel. And after his Week 1 performance, he's now getting a taste of what the Heisman Trophy winner did while in College Station.

“Coach [Kevin] Sumlin won’t let me take pictures," said Hill. "It’s one of those things Johnny got into so much trouble with pictures and he doesn’t want me to get in trouble with pictures.”

Sumlin said he didn't put that restriction on Hill, but did tell the quarterback to blame anything he didn't want to do on the coach.

Texas A&M up to No. 13 in Coaches' Poll

Hill also addressed his spring suspension after receiving a citation for public intoxication, saying "it was an embarrassing time" and something he continues to work through.
