Kansas coach Charlie Weis: We expect 'significantly' more wins
The Kansas football program has won three, two, one, and three games in the past four seasons, and coach Charlie Weis said that his players will be disappointed if they don’t win "significantly more games" than last year.
Weis is 4-20 in his three seasons at Kansas, and the Jayhawks haven’t been to a bowl game since 2008. Weis said he expects improvement in every area this upcoming season.
"We've got a lot of older guys now and they're tired of losing," Weis said to the Associated Press. "There's only one way to do it, that's work your way out of it. That's it."

Part of the problem last season was a lack of offense. Kansas scored only 15 points per game and ranked 120 out of 124 FBS teams in total offense.
Kansas opens its season Saturday against Southeast Missouri State.
